Tips for a Strong Pitch
- Lead with visuals β Show, don't tell. GIFs and gameplay footage win pitches.
- Know your comps β "It's like Hollow Knight meets Celeste" communicates instantly.
- Be specific about the ask β How much funding? What's it for? What's the timeline?
- Keep it short β 10 slides, each digestible in under 30 seconds.
- Practice β Rehearse until you can present without reading slides.
π‘ Pro Tip: Always include a playable demo link. Publishers receive hundreds of pitches β a demo that's fun in 5 minutes will do more than any slide deck.
